Coalescer filters efficient to the last drop

Coalescence is the physical process to separate two immiscible liquids or separate liquids from gas. Coalescer are used to separate water from hydrocarbons (fuel, kerosene, petrol & diesel) and to separate water from gas. Vermeer Process Technology provides both single phase and two phase separation units.

The process can be divided in three stages: filtration, coalescence and separation. First the mixture flows through a fine grade filter to capture most of the dirt. Coalescence is the physical process where small droplets merge during contact. The ‘new’ droplets formed by the coalescing action will separate by using purely gravity.
